Roll dimensions
Roll width and length vary by product and market. The labelled dimensions, not a remembered standard, should drive the calculation.
Usable drop length
Each drop must cover wall height plus trimming and pattern alignment. Dividing roll length by this cut length gives the usable number of full drops.
Pattern repeat
Straight and offset matches can consume different amounts. Follow the symbol and repeat measurement on the label.
Practical checklist
- Do not assume leftover short lengths make another full drop.
- Keep labels until the room is complete.
