Room Measurements
Room Measurements. Use the actual product label and your measured quantities. Starting values are editable examples, not universal rates or product specifications. Keep the units beside each input.
Method and practical checks
- Floor area is the sum of section areas; volume multiplies that area by the common height. Shared edges are not included in a perimeter estimate.

| Room height | 2.5 | m |
Method and assumptions
room_volume_m3 = sum(length_m * width_m) * common_height_m
Floor area is the sum of section areas; volume multiplies that area by the common height. Shared edges are not included in a perimeter estimate.
Wall area sums length × height × count. Measure door and window openings; do not subtract an opening twice.
Example with the selected inputs
- Floor area: 20 m²
- Room volume: 50 m³
Change the inputs to match your own task. Whole packages are rounded up after allowances, so purchase quantity and actual requirement can differ. Apply each allowance once.
