Concrete Calculator
Concrete Calculator. Use the actual product label and your measured quantities. Starting values are editable examples, not universal rates or product specifications. Keep the units beside each input.
Method and practical checks
- Volume = length × width × depth. Bag yield is cured volume from the product label, not bag mass. This is quantity planning, not structural design.

| Length | 5 | m |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 4 | m |
| Depth | 10 | cm |
| Extra allowance | 10 | % |
| Yield per bag | 12 | L |
Method and assumptions
m3 = length_m * width_m * thickness_cm/100
Volume = length × width × depth. Bag yield is cured volume from the product label, not bag mass. This is quantity planning, not structural design.
Cylinder volume = π × radius² × height × count. Structural dimensions must come from a suitable design.
Apply the allowance once. Round bags up only after converting the final required volume to litres.
Example with the selected inputs
- Volume before allowance: 2 m³
- Concrete volume: 2.2 m³
- Required quantity: 2200 L
- Packs to buy: 184
- Purchase quantity: 2208 L
- Left over: 8 L
Change the inputs to match your own task. Whole packages are rounded up after allowances, so purchase quantity and actual requirement can differ. Apply each allowance once.
